AI readiness
AI readiness is whether an organisation can absorb an AI capability, meaning data, ownership, process and accountability, rather than whether it has bought any tools.
Readiness assessments usually score tooling and awareness. That measures the easy half. The harder half is who owns the output when it is wrong, what the fallback is, and whether the process being automated was ever defined in the first place.
AI will not fix a process nobody has written down. It will scale it, including its faults.
