We invest
Direct capital into ventures we believe in, at terms agreed case by case. Small number, high conviction.
Ventures · The Crossbar
We have taken three of our own ideas from a document to a product with customers in it. If you have one, we can put money in it, build it, advise it, or sit on the board of it. Sometimes all four.
Four ways we come in
Most ventures need more than one of these and get offered only one. The structure is agreed case by case, in writing, before anything starts.

Antimony designs and ships the product, and part of the fee sits in the venture rather than on an invoice. The build engine that shipped Indium, Selenium and ACIM, pointed at yours.
Senior judgement on brand, growth and AI across the early years, structured as equity instead of a retainer. Best where the thinking is the constraint, not the building.
A formal seat where an independent commercial voice is genuinely useful and we can commit the time. Selective, and never as a favour.
The filter
This runs in your browser and sends nothing. If it tells you it is too early, that is genuinely the most useful thing we can give you for free.
01
Where is it today?
02
What are you actually asking us for?
03
What sector?
We build in several of these already. Say so plainly and we will tell you if there is a conflict.
04
Who is running it day to day?
05
What evidence do you have that someone wants this?
06
When would you want to start?
Before you send anything
Submissions through this page are non-confidential. We and our sister studio Antimony already design, build and operate our own products in property technology, commerce intelligence and consumer software. We may already be building something that resembles your idea, and we are not willing to promise otherwise.
So: send us the shape of it, not the secret. What it is, who it is for, why now, what you have learned. That is more than enough for us to know whether we want the real conversation. Please don’t send anything you could not afford to have us already working on.
If the detail genuinely cannot be described without confidence, use the NDA route below. We will look at the non-confidential shape first, check it against what we already have running, and issue an NDA if there is no conflict. That order is deliberate. An agreement signed before anyone has read anything protects nobody.
The fastest path, and the one most people should take. Your filter answers come with it so we have context before we read a word.
Send the shape of itOpens your email client. Nothing sends until you press send.
For genuinely sensitive detail. Send the non-confidential summary, ask for the agreement, and we will issue it once we have checked for conflict. Generator below.
Request an NDAWe respond either way, usually inside a week.
No form, no document, no commitment. Some of the best things start as someone thinking out loud at the right person.

The NDA generator
Our standard introductory NDA: mutual, two years, and deliberately short. It leaves out the non-competes and non-solicits that turn a five-minute signature into a two-week negotiation. Generate it to see exactly what we would sign before you ask for it, and read clause 6. It is the honest one, and it is the reason we can sign this at all.
Generated in your browser. Nothing is sent to us and nothing is binding until both parties sign.
The draft appears here. It is a template, not legal advice, so take your own advice before signing, and so will we.
Rather than a large number badly. If it is a no, you will get a reason, not silence.
